2026C Radiation Meter
Multi-Purpose Dosimeter

The 2026C is the next generation of Radcal’s very popular 2025AC dosemeter/ratemeter. Its wide dynamic range and accuracy makes it ideal for a variety of measurements. Applications include medical physics, x-ray service, x-ray compliance, radiation protection, plus low and high dose rate applications. Automatic corrections and clearly labeled controls are all designed to simplify operation and minimize errors.

The end result is a measurement of undisputed accuracy without the need for corrections.

FEATURES
  • Radcal's ion chamber technology - "the Gold Standard".
  • Broad dynamic range. The 20X6-60 covers 2µR/s to 100R/min.

IONIZATION CHAMBERS

All Radcal ion chambers are designed to provide the user with superior energy response characteristics, unparalleled in the industry. The resulting chamber accuracy and consistent reliability are well documented in the technical literature1-5.

The Commission of the European Communities undertook what proved to be the largest, most comprehensive intercomparison of diagnostic dose-meters ever done. Our meters, because of their ease of use and linear energy response, were found to provide the users with consistently good results. Please ask us for your free copy.

20X6-60 & 20X6-60E
SERVICE CHAMBERS

The dynamic range and thin profile of these chambers make them ideal for virtually all X-ray service applications (make sure the beam size is larger than the size of the detector):

  • Input Dose at the Image Intensifier (lowest resolution is 1.7 µR/s)
  • High dose rates encountered in Fluoroscopy
  • Cine, spot film devices & other special procedures

Additionally, the -60E(xtended) chamber's increased sensitivity at lower energies turns the chamber into a "Universal" detector, covering mammography through R&F and beyond.

The 8231 holder is recommended (please see accessories).
